I went to sch for 2 hrs for Ma lec only. Both Hr lecs were cancelled due to some unknown reasons. Still, there would be a make-up. Im so used to that alr. Every lec and tut that is missed would have to me made up for. For example, next tues is labour day, we would not have sch. but there would be make up lecs and tuts either before or after that day.
The lecturer was so longwinded. He went into the details of what we going to learn for the various topics in due time. E.g. he elaborated about what we will learn for cost concepts and terminology… And he did that for 1 hr! The students were getting restless as he went about the concepts that we are going to learn from next week onwards. Some had wondered into dreamland while others talked. That happens when a lecturer or tutor cant handle the class well. I wanted to pay full attention about what I was going to learn this morning. After an hr of lecturer I was already yawning, even before he started teaching about the concepts for today. In teaching, one would need passion and have right methods of teaching so that the students would be enthusiastic about the subject. There are just too many teachers who teach for the sake of teaching, without passion, or not using the right method.
Going back to what I did today. I wanted to go somewhere else after sch. I didn’t feel like going home. This is the first time I have this kind of violent objection of going home. This is due to the renovation going on, on the fifth level of my block. I was so annoyed by the noise level yst, that I didn’t want to go home to tolerate it again. The drillings started way when I was still sleeping. It was so unbearable that I could sleep no longer. Then, I sat on the floor of my room. And I could even feel the vibration on it! It was as though my body is vibrating. Tried listening to music, but the noise was way too loud that I could hear the lyrics clearly. I can go on and on about the unbearable noise…
Thus, I didn’t want to go home at all. I realized that I forgot to bring my wallet, mp3 and jacket out. That’s what u cant go to school without. I had no choice but to go home. Even if I wanna shop at Tm, I would still need money and card. That’s all for the negativity. By God’s mercy, the drillings wasn’t that intense that I could have a well afternoon nap. Praise Him!!! The drillings lasted for less than 5 min when I was sleeping.

In the twinkling of an eye, it's the start of sch again. How time flies. 2mths of hols were spent slacking away...This would be my final yr in Tp. That's really fast. i can still remember the days when i was pondering about the course that i should take in poly, getting to know new friends in poly. Soon, i would be graduating. What would i do then? .....
As usual, there are lectures and no tutorials for the first week. Thus, I only need to go to sch on thurs and fri only. 3 cheers!! Still, i went back sch on yst for the National Museum meeting. 10 ppl from our class would be doing the Shive project, and the rest National Museum, which was decided last week during the meeting with lynette tay. 8 out of 14 went down to the Musuem last thurs to meet with the person in charge and to explore the place. We have to come out with the programs and stuff like that for their open house on 9 Aug, which is the National Day. The entrance fee would be free for that day only. The planning for the open house is still ongoing.
Proceeding on, i still feel like it's hol for the moment. Sadly, i would need to go to sch for Managerial Accounting lecture tml, the most dreaded subject.For yr 1, i had biz accounting; yr 2, Biz finance' now, MA.Seems like Tp doesnt want us to forget the accounting terms...haha
