As students are grumbling about going back to school after a 1month holiday, i find that going back to school is almost the same to me. My break was just 2 weeks and there were tutorials and project to be done.A break that didnt seem like one.
The ridiculous thing is that even though i sleep for 9-10 hrs a day, i still hav eye bags around my eyes. Moreover, today i felt that my eye is hurting me. Somehow, i feel a sharp acute pain in my eyes when i move my eyeballs .
I realised that when i entered poly, I slept alot more and the more tired i was as compared to when i was in secondary school! Funny right? Am i aging? haha. Cant be cos i still look young =)
I wanted to go swimming b4 school today. I wanted to wake up at 8am to swim but i woke up at 10am instead as i was too sleepy.Swimming shall be postponed to tml. =) I intend to go swimming everyweek in the morning when the kids wont be hogging the pool.
I wonder why tutors take so long to mark our finance tests. Hopeefully, i can get back other test results this week.

, 6/23/2006 01:01:00 AM, I Have A Dream

I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men are created equal."

I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slaveowners will be able to sit down together at a table of brotherhood.

I have a dream that one day even the state of Mississippi, a desert state, sweltering with the heat of injustice and oppression, will be transformed into an oasis of freedom and justice.
I have a dream that my four children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day the state of Alabama, whose governor's lips are presently dripping with the words of interposition and nullification, will be transformed into a situation where little black boys and black girls will be able to join hands with little white boys and white girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.

I have a dream today.

I have a dream that one day every valley shall be exalted, every hill and mountain shall be made low, the rough places will be made plain, and the crooked places will be made straight, and the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.

This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the South. With this faith we will be able to hew our of the mountain of despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

This will be the day when all of God's children will be able to sing with a new meaning, "My country, 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty, of thee I sing. Land where my fathers died, land of the pilgrim's pride, from every mountainside, let freedom ring."

And if America is to ba a great nation this must become true. So let freedom ring from the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire. Let freedom ring from the mighty mountains of New York.

Let freedom ring from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania!

Let freedom ring from the snowcapped Rockies of Colorado!

Let freedom ring from the curvaceous peaks of California!

But not only that; let freedom ring from Stone Mountain of Georgia!

Let freedom ring from Lookout Mountain of Tennessee!

Let freedom ring from every hill and every molehill of Mississippi. From every mountainside, let freedom ring.

When we let freedom ring, whem we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

Exam's over.It just seems so fast, from the day i started school to this week of tests. It weighs 15%. Poly students couldnt go church camp. When my cell was talking about what they should doduring camp, i was jus so lost cos i cant even go. All the fun they would be having and i would have to study for the exems. This was the only time since i went to church that i didnt go church camp.I had 3 papers-Finance,HRM and Marketing.Finance and HRM were kinda okay.Shant comment too much in case i dont score that well. I mean sometimes u think the paper is easy and will score quite well but when u get back ur paper it will be a different case.Marketing theory was quite tricky.I managed to think of the last 3 questions which weighed 20marks in total.Thank God!I had to keep thinking and recalling what i had studiedFinally, when i was panicking on what crap i wanted to write, that i got the answers!YAY!But i didnt get the 2nd last question rite.Anyway, at least i could get some marks, better than nothing.

I went JB-City Square with my mum today. She took leave and since i had just finished exam so we went there. We went there early so that we wont be back too late. City Square is very big! It's like double the size of century square. We ate kenny rogers for brunch. It was cheap and delicious. I bought an adidas bag. There are many fashion shops there, something like Bugis Village. My mum wanted to cut, dye and highlight her hair but i didnt want to wait that long. So might as well next time then she go to the salon-Reds rite.If not we will reach home quite late.Actually i wanted to dye my hair too. Should i dye or highlight my hair or should i not do anything to my hair at all? Give some feedbacks leh..Bought some food from the supermart at B1.Stuff there are cheaper than spore. when we went back we bought coffee from coffeebean at 2 for 12RM.Cheap rite? Ta Bao 2 roti prata and afew tarts home.

Knowing that the checking points would be crowded, we chiong there as soon as we alighted. We were not the only ones that kiasu. I wanted to get home quick as I was quite tired.
As I was trying to get my stuff from the conveyor belt at Spore’s checkpoint, my mum waited for me from behind. The police was just standing in front of me. Seeing that my mum was carrying a huge plastic bag, he wanted to check her stuff. My mum told her they were just food. But he continued checking. All the more he would check right? In case I bring gums into spore. He took out a Watson’s plastic bag from the big bag. Oh no! Just then we realized that bubblegums were inside. AARRGGHH!!! They were almost at the top of the plastic bag. We almost forgot about them and didn’t hide them. It was too late already. It just happened so fast. They took down my mum’s name and broke the chewing gums into 2 and threw them into the bin in front of us.If only my mum wasn’t waiting for me behind. If only she had walked away. I wasn’t even being checked until she came. The guard was checking another guy’s stuff and my mum appeared to be carrying a big bag so to find something to do, he checked her stuff. There could always be “If only…”s. but everything happens for a reason. I actually wanted to but MI: 111. Thank God I didn’t buy or else I would be fined.

the food we bought home was nice too man! =)
