Raining heavily again. I went to have a free makeover at clarke quay.The person told my mum that it's located near raffles place,but we ended up walking to clarke quay.We took a long time to find the place as the lanes were confusing.There are boat quay road,circuit road and circular road.Finally a long search, we found the place.It looks cool as there's 3 storey.There are places for photography,make up, changing room, quite a number of desktops so that customers can choose the pics that they want.My mum and i had a makeover.As there were two of us,we took a long time before we were able to choose our pics.We are entitled to have two free images.But the consultants psychoed us to spend two thousand plus to have more benefits like having makeover every year, job opportunities whenever im on holiday,learn more about adobe photoshop.There's definitely not a need to do so as my dad is a photographer.He took several videos and pictures of me when i was young.When we didnt want to purchase anything, their faces changed.When the consultant introduced herself to us, she said that the company emphasizes on their service.But how can it be a good service if the stuff show black faces whenever customers dont make any purchases?Moreover only some of the pictures they have taken are nice.
By the time we ended everything it was about 9.30pm.So late...
Below are the 2 nicest pictures my mum and i have chosen.
Guided by the consultant to pose this way,but it ended out as an 'act cut' picture.Maybe because i'm cute by nature? Haha =) Just kidding.
After they have curled my hair and did some stuff to my mum's hair.
The 2 pics look different rite? I look younger in the first rite? The second, i look abit older rite?
Overall, it was fun taking pics.Really took a long time to take the pictures as i cant see without my specs. So whenever they told me to pose,i have to wear my specs again.Very troublesome.The consultant was kinda of used to it that the 2nd round she automatically offered to give me back my specs to see another pose.

Woke up at 1045am today.Had a wonderful night, but my eye brown and nose bones were still aching.I think it's a blue black.I hit my face when i was at my cousin's house 2 weeks ago. I closed the refrigerator door when my head was still within the circumference of the door movement.
Even before i get to eat my branch, my handphone rang.The number was one that i have not seen before.
It was my cousin's friend working in maha budhi school.The school needed a relief teacher to replace a teacher who took mc.I think the teachers always call last minute for mc or leave, so the staff had to get a relief teacher last minute. Shouldnt the teachers call afew hours before the afternoon section starts? What if the staff couldnt get a relief teacher in time?
She called at 12pm and expected me to meet her at 12.45pm at the school's general office. Have neither eaten nor bathed nor packed my stuff, and it's all the way down at ubi,eunos link.
Moreover, i waited for more than 15minutes for bus 15 to arrive.While walking to the bus stop, i realised that i had no more money in my EZ-link card,i didnt have enough coins, and i forgot to bring my precious water bottle. Boarded the bus at 12.40pm.The driver was very nice.He allowed me to board the bus even though i didnt have enough coins. I reached school at 1pm. The students were still having assembly.
I had to teach them english, maths and social studies.The class was extremely noisy!Maybe because i've not been in the classroom setting for a long time.The students were complaining that their friends hit them,pulled their hair,knocked down their water bottles and accidentally spoiled them.While trying to get silence from one side of the class, another was making a whole lot of noise.Then, when i went over the other side, the previous side continued making noise.Much of the noise was actually made by students who raised their voice to silent the class and requested to write on the board to ask the class to keep quiet. Told them to sit down but they continued doing so.I think in most classes, there will sure be a bully who goes around disturbing,irritating other students.There was one in the class that i taught.He simply didnt want to sit still, nor listened to others,including me, who asked him to go back to his seat.He first started hitting and disturbing others,and they were so annoyed that they hit him back and tore his notebook.
I really had a headache cos of my blue black on my face,didnt eat since i woke up.However so, i managed to get them to do some work.
For english, they had to pick at least 5 useful words from the 2nd story of their storybooksin groups of 5. For maths, i got some of them to get to the front to do sums on the board and awarded some marks to their groups when they have done the sums correctly.Upon seeing the sums on the board,more then 5 students came to the front and requested to do them.Without paying attention to my instructions,some of them from the same group requested to do the sums.I actually wanted a student from each group to race to the front and see who was the first and does the sum correctly,so that i can award additional marks.Still, i picked students who raised their hands first.I could wait for school to end when i was teaching at 2plus 3pm.It finally got to the end when i relief teach them social studies for the last lesson.Some requested to pack up their bag at 610pm when school was dismissed at 620p. So gang chiong.The rest was still playing, that i had to go round the class to ask them to read their textbook.
Today was the first time teaching primary school kids.I think i need to learn how to teach in a classroom setting.

Thursday, 3/09/2006 10:20:00 PM, Another Week's almost over
I have been sleeping for long hours this week.The earliest time i woke up was 930am, after 9-10 hours of sleep. So i only have half a day doing things since i woke up so late. And the thing is even though i have slept for so long, i still felt sleepy throughout the day, and i spent the first few hours forcing myself to be awake and not sleep too much.To my rememberance, i have not slept for so long in a week in my whole life and feel so sleepy after that. Cos when i was young, my mum would wake me up at 8plus,always nagging that half the day would be gone if u've slept longer.True.But it's no choice if u are really tired. Perhaps, it's true that the more u sleep the more tired u are. I'm not sure.
Still,I spent the week reading the series of Narnia, borrowed from Merri.It's interesting, and fascinating. So magical, talking about magicians and witches, and Aslan will save the day.He would send people from the world to another world and help them solve a case.Something i realised was thatAslan will appear in every book.The last time i read such books was when i was in primary school, because of the tales.
I went to the airport twice this week.I fetched my mum back from China on Monday.Her company sent her away for a week to do some business there. I went airport again with Pauline and Hui min to have lunch with them today,though i have eaten lunch at home already.Cos my aunt bought lunch to my house today.Due to the absence of my mum last week, my grandma and her maid is staying over at my house.She still is at my house though my mum's back.We walked nearly the whole of airport after eating.Nothing much there, all u see is people walking here and there or sitting.Arrival and departure hall ma,of course la.

5days of my holidays have past already, and i have been going out everyday except for friday. Today, i would only be out of the house in the late evening. I wanted to finish reading 'Church History' so that i wont hold on the Adora's book for too long.I borrowed from her last year and i only really started reading after exams.Haha.Sorry Adory. =) Left another half to be completed. I really get to know how come there are so many denominations now,and how were they originated.For every movements,there would be an origin.
But all thanks to the noises around me that caused me to be so distracted.First, was the reconstruction in Pasir Ris Sec which was jus beside my house,then comes the drilling from my neighbour upstairs,another from the pounding loudly of food next door,and then the other neighbour tried to pound back some noise,hinting to them that they are noisy.But it only contributed to the noise pollution cos they continued pounding soon after that. Last but not least,the wayang and the lion dance from the temple near my house.interestingly,CNY is over and there's still lion dance around.Anybody know why the temple's always doing some wayang all thru the day and there seemed that only afew watches. I couldnt concentrate on my book so went blog visiting and i also came here to post something. =) But, i will go back to the book.My goal will be accomplished today.
