It was exams time for me during this period. I only had 3 papers. Haha. =) But The papers were generally okay, not as easy as you might think.

Adecco called me the day after I finished my exams when I was gg back to dmn. No time to rest sia. Dmn’s changing, neo going to demolish old block, and the new blk’s colour had became so disgusting. Though seeing orange once in a while will stimulate your creativity, too much of it will really make you so sick of it. Just imaging seeing everywhere orange when you go to school. Poor dunmanites.
I had to go to adecco (shaw) on 1sept to collect the time sheet. There goes my day of sleeping….zzzzz It’s just that I didn’t had enough sleep ever since study week.

Started work beginning of 4/9 at Expeditors as Temp Customers Service Assistant. There were 3 other persons who were new temp staff as well. All of them were older than me. We went through a short orientation.
There was this weird new temp staff, called Michelle. She’s kinda old alr, may be an auntie, based on what I think? I’m not really sure cos she dresses until very old, and the way she presents herself was horrendous. She also behaves very weirdly. She talks and mumbles to herself. And most of the staff there couldn’t really understand what she talks about. She just shoots and don’t really bother if we understand what she wants to say. Thus, we didn’t really bother what she said. Not that we are mean, but we really don’t understand a single thing.

Just yesterday, Alicia and I wanted to use the scanner (which is connected to the comp that Michelle is using) to fax the documents over to changi north. Alicia wanted me to try scanning and faxing on my own, while she guided me here and there. Michelle wasn’t at her desk at that moment. She came back to her desk while we were scanning. Impatiently, she asked, “ni ke yi qi lai ma? Wo de jiao hen suan. Wo yao zhuo” = can u do your scanning while standing? My legs are tired and I want to sit. Then I hesitated a moment cos we were still doing the scanning. Alicia was quite annoyed, so she replied Michelle saying, “ni bo ke yi rang ta zhuo wan xian ma? Zao bie de yi zhi zhuo xian la” = why cant u let her finish her work first? Get a chair from elsewhere first la. You know what? I was there laughing at the scene. Y is there such a funny person in the office. And then her skin still so think, she asked, “hen hao siao ma?” = very funny maeh? She didn’t get it. Then she stared at Alicia for a while. Alicia then said , “kan se mo kan?” = see what see? Michelle was so pai seH that she tried to look some where else. So funny la.

A moment ago, Michelle was using Christopher’s comp. When he came back, he didn’t chase her away, instead he went to do something else first. That’s basic courtesy right? Still, I will still have to work with her till I leave the company.

Actually, the job scope is more than being a customer service assistant cos I need to create new receipts and orders when order is sent to Expeditors. Then I have to do the pick list, reconcile, put away, a list to give to the warehouse in charge to remove the obsolete goods, etc. Have to follow a standard procedure. So confusing when the pop-ups of the software look so familiar!
