Have u ever wondered what does X in "Xmas" stand for?Maybe u tot that in our hustle-bustle world, poeple write the word that way to make it shorter and faster to read and write. Or maybe u tot thatpeople were trying to leave Christ out of Christmas completely. But neither of those reasons is truly why the X is used. Actually, Christians themselves first started using the X long ago in Greece. The Greek letter for the beginning of Christ's name is chi, and the way to wite chi is with an X. the X us just an old way of using Christ's initial. The letter X is the symbol for Chist, who is the symbol of all beginnings. Before anything alse existed, there was Christ,with Gid.He has always been alive and is himself God. He created everything there is - nothing exists that He didnt make.
This Christmas, Alvaro Sanchez came to my church.He hails as one of the best in his field and will astound you with his excellent musicality. He played the guitar and harp.And when he played the guitar,the sound which sounded like drums was produced.It was awesome.Music was and is meant for worship man!That was why music was created.We were given gifts-"Building on the Cornerstone"DVD.Then after service, we went parkway for lunch.We have not been there for lunch for a long time.We had been eating at katong due to time constraint.The committed had class after lunch.We ate at Bk.After that,eunice and i went life bookshop as she wanted to get something for her bros.Then we went shopping, which we had not done so for a long time.I bought a green-coloured long pants.She had to meet her family so we parted and that was the last time we will be seeing each other for this year,unless if there's core mtg.So, hopefully there is core mtg this wed.When i was at the bus stop i saw sab,adora and liu yan approaching.We boarded bus 15.After adora and sab alighted,i slept the entire journey back home as i was very sleepy.I couldnt sleep the night before until 3am.I tossed and turned on my bed for 2hrs until i decided to spend my QT at 2am and i went back to bed at 240am. Took quite some time to sleep.My hp alarmed at 630am but i was too tired tt i switched off the alarm and went back to sleep. i actually wanted to sleep a while more but who knows i slept till 754am.i was very late!I woke up late last week too-804am.I dont know why but i have been taking cab to church for 2consecutive weeks and it's not cheap. Oh no!Learnt my lesson-never go back to sleep when the alarm has rung or else i would oversleep.It was pouring heavily and i only had 4 bucks in my wallet so i had to run to the ATM near church to draw money to return the cabbie.Reached church at 830.Service didnt start till 840, maybe bcos it was raining.When i reached the place where my cell usually sits, i saw them giving/exchanging gifts.Oh no! i dont have any at that time to return to those who had given me as i hadnt had time to buy or make the days before.Eunice reached later than me,but wasnt late for P&W.She too took a cab.I asked her if she took a cab.She told me that she wanted to call me to ask late as well but she tot i would call her if i was.Then when i was late,i wanted to call her but i tot she would be on the bus already.Oh No!Wasted money on cab,some more there's $1 surcharge,totalling my fare to $8.90!Learnt another lesson-always double check,dont 'think'!
i opened and watched the "building on the cornerstone"DVD when i reached home.It's awesome!
Then i went my cousin's hse.We exchanged presents and ate steam boat for dinner.
